Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ZiSecOnline, including our website, web application, iOS application, Android application, cybersecurity training courses, assessments, certification services, and related features (the “Services”). By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account and Eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. You must meet the minimum age and legal capacity requirements applicable in your country or use the Services with any required authorization.

2. Cybersecurity Training Services

ZiSecOnline provides cybersecurity awareness training, educational content, assessments, and certification-related services. Training is for educational and awareness purposes and does not guarantee that you or your organization will prevent every cybersecurity incident, meet every regulatory requirement, obtain employment, or achieve compliance with every cybersecurity standard.

3. Course Purchases, Validity, Expiry and Renewal

ZiSecOnline courses are offered as one-time purchases unless a product is expressly described otherwise. Each purchase provides access for the validity period shown before purchase or in your account.

  • A course purchase is not an automatically renewing subscription.
  • Course access may expire at the end of the stated validity period.
  • When access expires, continued access or renewed certification may require a new purchase.
  • Renewal is a new transaction and is not automatically charged merely because the previous validity period has ended.
  • Prices, course content, assessment requirements, and validity periods offered at renewal may differ from the previous purchase.

4. Payments and Refunds

Web payments are processed through Stripe. Purchases made through the iOS or Android applications may be processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another payment method permitted for the applicable platform and storefront. Payment transactions may also be subject to the payment provider’s terms.

Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law, the nature of the purchase, and the rules of the payment platform used. Refund requests for purchases processed directly by Apple or Google may need to be submitted through the applicable store.

5. Assessments and Certifications

You must complete assessments honestly. You must not impersonate another user, share or obtain unauthorized assessment answers, manipulate scores, bypass assessment controls, or create, alter, or misuse ZiSecOnline certificates. We may invalidate results or revoke certification where fraud, cheating, impersonation, or material misuse is identified.

A ZiSecOnline certificate confirms only the training or achievement stated on the certificate. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is not a government license, academic degree, professional license, employment guarantee, or universal evidence of regulatory compliance. A certificate may have its own validity or expiry period where stated.

6. Acceptable Use

You must use ZiSecOnline lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

  • Use training material to access, scan, test, exploit, damage, or interfere with systems without authorization.
  • Attempt to bypass account, payment, expiry, security, or access controls.
  • Introduce malware, harmful code, or disruptive activity into the Services.
  • Copy, scrape, reproduce, resell, or distribute protected course or assessment content without permission.
  • Misrepresent your identity, training completion, assessment results, or certification status.
  • Use another person’s account or improperly share your account access.

7. Intellectual Property

ZiSecOnline and its licensors own or control the rights in the Services and their content, including course materials, videos, assessments, software, graphics, trademarks, and certificate formats. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use purchased or assigned content during the applicable access period for authorized training purposes.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the ZiSecOnline Privacy Policy available at https://zisec.zimozi.sg/privacy-policy/. By using the Services, you acknowledge the data practices described in that policy.

9. Third-Party Services

ZiSecOnline may rely on third-party service providers to support functions such as authentication, cloud infrastructure and storage, payment processing, analytics, communications, security, and app distribution. Your use of or transactions through certain third-party services may also be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and platform rules.

10. Service Availability and Changes

We may update course content, features, assessments, or technical systems to improve the Services, address security issues, or comply with legal requirements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, outages, security incidents, or third-party service failures.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary because of fraud, non-payment, account compromise, unlawful activity, cheating, certificate manipulation, security risks, or material violation of these Terms. You may stop using ZiSecOnline at any time and may request account deletion in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZiSecOnline is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that training will eliminate cybersecurity risk, that every certificate will be accepted by a particular employer or regulator, or that the Services will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zimozi Solutions Pte. Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at [email protected] so that we can attempt to resolve the issue.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, course offerings, payment arrangements, platform requirements, or applicable law. The latest version will display an updated “Last Updated” date, and additional notice will be provided where required.
